Street honors the one and only Ooney Gagen

Ooney Gagen (see photo), a shadowy figure in McMinnville and, more specifically, at Linfield College, has been honored in a special way by the city's signmeister. There's now "Ooney Gagen Way" in Mac. Exact location of the street is not known. "I'm almost speechless about this honor," Gagen told Mac News. "It's my fond wish to have my dream home built on Ooney Gagen Way. If that happens, it'll help assure I get all the fan mail sent me."
...........................................

Update on 6/7/2015. Wildcatville learned and shared with Mac News that Ooney Gagen's dream home has been built. The address: 1 Ooney Gagen Way, McMinnville OR 97128.

Decorating for Christmas 2014 in McMinnville

Mac News was there to take these photos on afternoon of Wednesday 11/26, 2014, near McMinnville Public Library and the city Aquatic Center. C and D Landscape of McMinnville decorated the city's Christmas tree next to Adams Street/99W.

And, on the afternoon of 11/29/2014, it was at Town Homes West/THW in McMinnville, too, when THWers put holiday lights on the neighborhood's Northwest Willamette Drive entryway trees.
