Don't believe it, Mac News learned in talking to a Post Office clerk on Aug.
29, 2012. All of the mail sent from the McMinnville Post Office, even if it's sent to a McMinnville address, is postmarked Portland since that's where the mail is processed. While some postal items are, indeed, postmarked “MCMINNVILLE, OR” (see photo), most are not.
